FrameOut
A VHS-style true first-person horror game. As 1980s space agents flung into an unrecognizable reality, you must navigate impossible geometries and record the truth of "The Signal" with only a fading camcorder battery keeping the darkness at bay.
FrameOut is a VHS-styled true first-person horror game that thrusts you into the ruins of an unknown world, warped by an invisible anomaly known as "The Signal." The Mission: You are an agent of a 1980s space exploration company. Your ship, intended to track a mysterious deep-space transmission, was intercepted by an event that defied physics—flinging you into a reality that shouldn't exist. You awake in a world that is silent, and wrong. The geometry folds in on itself. The shadows move when you look away. And the only thing keeping you tethered to reality is the heavy battery pack on your back and the viewfinder of your camcorder. The Signal Remembers: The Signal isn't just a broadcast; it's a presence. It threads through the world like a living frequency. To survive, you must record evidence of its impossible phenomena—floating debris, looping corridors, and entities that exist between the frames of reality. Time is your enemy. Every second of recording, every beam of light, trades safety for information. Scavenge for batteries, manage your drain, and decide what is worth documenting and what is worth running from. There are no guns. There is no combat. Your only defense is your wit, your stealth, and your ability to capture the truth before it captures you. Join the Investigation: FrameOut is currently in active development. Follow us to track the signal.
